To say that we’re excited to be hosting an incubator of chicken eggs for 3 weeks from Casey Farm in the Children’s Department is a bit of an understatement. To start it off with a bang an educator from their farm will be presenting a slide show on chicken development and behavior. This is followed by a hands-on display of various bird eggs and a visit from one of the farm’s Dominique chickens, a rare breed they are actively conserving. Come join us as we welcome the chicks to the library!

When: Saturday, April 21 at 11am. Ages 3 and up. Pre-registration required.
